Why Item Upgrade Still Matters In 2024

item upgrading  and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades to gear increase its base stats, and sometimes increases its other features. The worth of these upgrades is determined by the gear's tiers, their requirements and how many random augmentations are made available.

For example, the elite shield for racial discrimination Razortail is often upgraded to enhance its lightning absorb ability in PvP or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in PvM. This makes it more exchangeable than the non-upgraded perfect version.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens permit you to buy a new item, such as a weapon, armor or ring. This replaces the item with another item of the same type however with different benefits. Reroll tokens can be a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. However, they don't retain the quality of the original item, and any wasted resources will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain tokens to reroll in many ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be found in chests and crates or bought from the market at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens are used to alter the attribute of an item of equipment, for example increasing the damage it can cause.

Players can roll equipment in three attributes, physical power, spell power and health. Physical power increases the damage caused by melee and weapons while spell power improves rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player additional health.

There are three types of Reroll tokens: upgrade, rare and legendary. Each upgrade elevates an item to a higher-quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a common item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

The marker that rerolls, unlike markers or tokens placed on action spaces remains on the space until the next Success is to be rerolled. This allows you to not waste upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that show up at the beginning of every Preparation phase. They can be opened using Interact by pressing on them. When they are opened, they show an image and description of the appliance or ingredient. Blueprints can be exchanged for a new appliance or ingredient in the restaurant's shop for a small amount of money.

During the course of the course of a game, blueprints can be transferred between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool as a result of selected Franchise Cards. This changes the blueprints that the restaurant's shop can offer for rerolls, and those that are located in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to improve weapons, armor and other accessories. These are special stones that can increase the level of an item by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can also purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Additionally, players can acquire these stones by signing daily contracts.

To upgrade their gear players must first find the item they want to upgrade and then click the "level up" button. This will display a menu that shows the item's current status and what it will be when being upgraded, along with the required amount of Growth Stones to accomplish this. The number of Growth Stones required to upgrade the gear will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires one Growth Stone.

After deciding on what to upgrade, players must select the number of green Growth Stones they wish to utilize and pay the appropriate cost. Once the requirements are satisfied, the user can select the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a certain percentage. The upgrade process can last from a few seconds to several minutes, based on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the longevity of the item. The system is an excellent choice for those who wish to gain an advantage in combat, but don't want to spend a lot of money. Additionally players can transfer experience and progress of an upgraded item to new item by clicking the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to obtain Growth Stones. However, there are many ways to obtain them, including completing contracts and purchasing them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or obtaining them from the reward chests that are available during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can cut down higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets players increase the base stats of weapons armor, helms and trinkets. It is accomplished by combining an item with upgrade components at the Upgrade Station, paying a fee of Happy Stars or Happy Tickets. The upgrade materials will be consumed and the item will receive a higher level. This process continues until the item reaches its highest level.

Items with upgraded stats will be displayed as a blue icon beside their slot. Unlike  item upgrade , however, upgrade components do not stack against each other, and can only be added to one item at one time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items as well as a certain equipment level.

The Upgrade Station has two slots: the left is where players can place an item that they wish to upgrade, and the right side shows a glimpse of what the equipment will look like once it is at its next level. When a player has enough materials, pressing the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time it is upgraded, the stats of the base item will increase by an amount of. The maximum level of an item is 19.

Once an item reaches the highest level, upgrades will not be available for it. Also, when an item reaches the level of a specific upgrade track (e.g. Upgrades for the Veteran or Explorer track ) they will be discounted.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be put into armor, weapons, trinkets, and gathering tools to provide an attribute bonus or extra effect while the equipment is being used. They can be purchased from vendors, looted or obtained through questing. They can also be traded between players. Upgrade components can be replaced with new ones, however doing so could destroy the previous upgrade, excluding for glyphs which can be replaced and removed at any time.

Requirements

Items upgrades allow players to increase certain stats of armor and weapons they already have. The requirements for upgrading an item differ based on the kind of item however, generally you'll require Dilithium and a number of Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

Item upgrade components can be incorporated into equipment set pieces or weapons to provide additional effects or to increase the item level. These upgrades can be gotten from various sources in the game, including through crafting, bought at the Trading Post or karma vendors, looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade component is added to an item, it can't be removed and substituted without restriction, however the glyphs that are used in gathering tools can be swapped out without limitation.

The upgrade of an item can boost its Mark Level and/or Rarity. Some upgrade components come with additional modifiers that can increase the stats of the item.

For example, the helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun" boosts the base defense, and adds an extra 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" on the other hand, increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for some items, but not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get a perfect roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50 times the value of the unupp'd version.

The game will highlight the requirements once you choose the upgrade component to be incorporated into the item. This includes the type of item (either Weapon or Armor), the level of the item and the upgrade Token required, and the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've satisfied the requirements for upgrading, the game will place the item in your inventory, and the progress bar will update to show how close to completing the upgrade. You can also verify the status of an upgrade by visiting any upgrader NPC for the item you want to upgrade.
