What's The Reason? Item Upgrade Is Everywhere This Year

Throne and Liberty Gear Upgrades

Upgrades can increase the stats of a piece of gear and at times even add additional features. The value of these upgrades is determined by their tiers, requirements, and the number of random augmentations applied.

The elite racial Shield Razortail for instance, is often upgraded to increase its lightning absorption capabilities in PvP, and/or to provide additional defenses to missile-based builds in the PvM. This makes it more tradeable over the original version that is not upgraded.

Reroll Tokens

Reroll tokens allow you to roll a purchased item such as an armor, weapon or ring. The item is replaced with an identical item and comes with different benefits. Reroll tokens are a cost-effective method to upgrade equipment. They don't keep the original equipment's condition, and any resources wasted will not be refunded.

Survivors can obtain reroll tokens in several ways, including through the Mistery Box and rare drops from skulled creatures. They can also be located in crates and chests, or purchased at the local store at a cost of 150k each. Reroll tokens can be used to change an attribute on the equipment, such as increasing its damage or giving it a new stat.

Players can reroll equipment in three categories: physical power, spell power, and health. Physical power upgrades boost the damage that weapons and melee attacks, while spell power boosts rings and mage attacks. Health upgrades give the player an extra health.

Three types of reroll tokens are available such as upgrade rare, legendary and rare. Each upgrade takes an item to a higher quality and requires a higher-level reroll token in order to create it. Upgrades require a standard item. Rare upgrades require an item that is exclusive or legendary. Legendary upgrades require three legendary pieces.

Unlike other special tokens and markers that are placed on Action spaces The reroll marker is left on the spot until the next success result is repeated. This is a way to avoid wasting upgrades.

Blueprints are envelopes that appear at the start of every Preparation phase. They are opened using Interact by pressing on them. Once they are open they will display a complete description and the icon of the corresponding Appliance or Ingredient. The restaurant's store will trade blueprints for a brand new appliance or ingredient for an amount of money.

During an event, blueprints may be moved between the Staple Pool and the Non-staple pool due to the choice of Franchise Cards. This affects which blueprints the restaurant's shop has available for rerolls and which are available in the non-droppable Pool.

Growthstones

In Throne and Liberty, growth stones can be used to upgrade armor, weapons and other items. These are special stones that boost an item's level by increasing its stats and abilities. Players can locate these items by visiting Equipment Enchanting NPCs located in the main towns. They can purchase them from Contract Coin Merchants for a price. Moreover, players can obtain these stones by completing daily contracts.

To upgrade  item upgrading  must first locate the item and then click the "level up button". This will show a list of the item's level, and what it will be after being leveled-up. It will also show the amount of Growth Stones needed to accomplish this. The amount of Growth Stones required to upgrade an item will depend on its rarity. Rare (blue), rarer weapons will require more than one Growth Stone, while uncommon armor only requires a single Growth Stone.

After selecting the item to upgrade, the user must choose the number of Growth Stones that they want to use and pay for the cost. Once the requirements are fulfilled, the player may then click on the upgrade button to apply the Growth Stones to the item. This will raise the item's level by a specific percentage. The upgrade process can last anywhere from seconds to several minutes, depending on the rarity of the item.

The upgrade process is also completely risk-free and does not affect the durability of the item. This makes the system an excellent way for players to gain a significant advantage in combat without straining their bank accounts. Additionally, players can transfer the experience and the progress of an upgraded item to new gear by clicking on the "transfer" tab.

New players may find it difficult to acquire Growth Stones. However, there are  item upgrading  to obtain them, including signing contracts and buying them from the Contract Coin Merchant, defeating Abyssal Contract enemies, obtaining them from the Equipment Stone Seal Book, or getting them from the reward chests during the Ancient Arena season. In addition players can also break down the higher-level Growth Stones to create multiple lower-level ones.

Leveling

Leveling is an option that lets you increase the stats of armor and weapons. You can also upgrade trinkets and helms. The Upgrade Station lets you combine an item with upgrade materials, and also pay a cost in Happy Tickets or Happy Stars. The upgrade components will be consumed and the item will gain a higher level. This process can be repeated until the highest level for an item is reached.

Items that have upgraded stats will display a blue icon next to their slot. Unlike enchantments, however, upgrade components cannot be stacked with each other, but can only be added to a single item at a time. Each upgrade component will require an amount of items and a minimum equipment level.

The Upgrade Station comes with two slots: the left one is where players can place equipment that needs to be upgraded, while the right side shows a glimpse of what the gear will look like when it reaches its next level. When a player has enough materials and has pressed the yellow arrow will start the upgrade process.

A piece of equipment can be upgraded up to five times. Each time an item is upgraded, its base stats will increase by a small percentage. The maximum level for an item is 19.

When an item reaches its maximum level, its upgrades will no longer be available to it. Also, when a piece of gear reaches an upgrade track (e.g. Veteran or Explorer) upgrades to that track will come with a discount.

Upgrade components are a type of equipment that can be slotted into weapons, armor trinkets and gathering tools to give an additional bonus or effect when the equipment is in use. They can be bought from vendors, looted, acquired through quests or exchanged between players. Upgrade components can be changed by acquiring new ones. However, this will cause the old upgrade to be destroyed.

Requirements

The upgrades to items allow players the ability to boost certain stats on weapons and armor that they currently own. The requirements for upgrading an item will vary based on the kind of item, but typically you'll need Dilithium as well as a few Upgrade Tokens (various options available).

The upgrade items can be slotted into equipment set pieces and weapons for extra effects or a higher level of the item. The upgrades can be acquired from a variety of sources within the game, including through crafting, purchased at the Trading Post or karma vendors or looted from bosses and raids, or dropped from dungeons. Once an upgrade element is added to an item, it can't be removed and changed without restriction, however, the glyphs used in gathering tools can be swapped without restriction.

Upgrades can boost the Mark Level of an item or Rarity. In addition, some upgrade components include additional modifiers that can increase the stats of an item.

The helm upgrade "Foundation of the Sun", for instance, increases defense base and adds an additional 20% chance to block. The DPS "Wildfire" however, increases weapon damage.

Upgrades can be beneficial for certain items, but they are not because they increase stats. They are more valuable for the players when they get an exact roll. For instance, a perfectly rolled 200/6 504 armor set piece is highly sought-after in the melee PvP community and could be worth 20-50x more than the non-upp'd version.

If you choose an upgrade component to slot into an item, the game will display a pop-up window that shows the requirements required for that item. These include the item type (either Weapon or Armor), the tier of that item and the Upgrade Token required, as well as the amount of progress needed to complete the upgrade.

Once you've met the required requirements for an upgrade, the game will place the item in your inventory and the progress bar will be updated to indicate how close to completing the upgrade. You can also check the status of an upgrade by visiting any item upgrader NPC.
